Production Partners

Code of Conduct

Socially responsible corporate governance is one of the basic and core principles of entrepreneurial action. ISA-TEX and all our production partners are fully committed to the Code of Conduct, which was developed by the German Textile and Fashion Industry Association. This Code of Conduct regulates the cornerstones of socially responsible corporate management.

Standards

In addition to the Code of Conduct, which defines the basic requirements of cooperation, internationally recognized standards, memberships and certifications guarantee that all business units pursue a common strategy. Corporate social responsibility is lived and actively promoted by all our production partners.

Quality Management

Extensive quality controls at all stages of the textile chain guarantee a flawless textile product. Our employees are constantly on site in the productions to carry out quality controls according to our high standards. In the case of individual (custom-made) clothing, the approval of colors and logos is also carried out in close consultation with the customer. All productions are tested according to the generally valid quality standard AQL 2.5..

Our strategic production partner Arvind Limited and its Advanced Materials division convince through technology, quality and sustainable corporate management. Arvind is a textile key player and partner of ISA-TEX for sustainable and ecological clothing.

Arvind Limited, headquartered in the Indian state of Gujarat, the birthplace of Mahatma Ghandi, is a group with activities in textiles, trading, advanced materials, environmental solutions and real estate. The company was founded in 1931, currently employs around 40,000 people and has sales of around USD 1.8 billion.

Sustainable Cotton

At present, the area under sustainable cotton cultivation covers around 120,000 hectares, with around 27,000 cotton farmers earning their income from it. By 2023, the intention is to expand the area to 400,000 ha and thus have around 100,000 cotton farmers under contract.

In addition to cotton, all other important raw materials are processed in the company's own yarn and fabric production; the total annual fabric volume spans the globe 6 times. In the flame retardant sector, Arvind is India's largest producer.

In the textile sector, Arvind is a vertically integrated company, i.e. all production stages of the so-called "textile chain" are united under one roof. The technological capabilities of our strategic partner Arvind Advanced Materials include specialty fabric processing, stretch bonding, coating, lamination, specialty garment manufacturing and much more.

As one of the world's leading producers of denim fabrics and ready-made jeans, Arvind has been intensively involved in environmental protection, water management and treatment, and energy management in cooperation with Levi's for many years. Today, the environmental solutions division holds 22 global environmental patents.

In retail, Arvind owns or manages 15 international apparel brands in India, including household names such as Arrow, U.S. POLO ASSN., Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ed Hardy, GANT and others. Every 2 seconds, an apparel item from an Arvind-managed brand is sold in India.
